APS Crews Prepare for UPCOMING Monsoon season

Get a behind-the-scenes look at the Deer Valley Operations Center 

WHAT:

Learn how APS is preparing for the impending monsoon season including the equipment that helps us restore power quickly and safely like “The Condor,” a super-sized bucket truck, and our “transformer farm,” home to all the tools needed to deliver reliable power.

WHO:

Crews are ensuring all of the tools and equipment are ready as we await the summer storm season to begin.

WHEN:

6 a.m. - 9 a.m., Wednesday, July 24 

WHERE:

APS Deer Valley Operations Center, 2122 W. Cheryl Drive, Phoenix AZ 85021

Directions from downtown Phoenix, take I-17 North and exit West Peoria Avenue. Turn east on West Peoria Avenue, then south on North 23rd Avenue. The APS entrance is located about a quarter mile down 23rd Avenue on the left.

Please plan to stop briefly at the entrance guard station to check in from your vehicle with photo ID.
